Swerve Sports Brings Viewers Exclusive Access to the Women’s Competitive Freestyle Trampoline Championships and the Inspiring Story of the Melanzana Women’s Little 500 Cycling Team with the Original Documentary ZANA: Women of the Little 500
LOS ANGELES (December 8, 2025) – Swerve TV, the distributor and programmer of free live-streaming channels, has added new content to its 24/7 free streaming women’s sports channel, Swerve Sports that includes a brand new sports category for the channel and a new, compelling original sports documentary.
Through a licensing agreement with The Freestyle Trampoline Association, Swerve Sports has added an exclusive special highlighting the most exciting elements of the Women’s Freestyle Championship, which took place during the 2025 Freestyle Trampoline World Championships held in Barcelona this past September.
Swerve Sports has also acquired the inspirational short film ZANA: Women of the Little 500. Produced by State Bicycle Co. and directed by Grace Williams and Emily Segura Maze, ZANA follows the Melanzana women’s Little 500 cycling team on their quest for a historic three-peat win. The Little 500, held annually at Indiana University, is one of the most iconic collegiate cycling races in the US, made famous by the classic film Breaking Away. More than a sports documentary, the film delves into gender equality, female empowerment, and the strength of community within competitive cycling.
“Women’s sports has been growing in popularity among all viewers, but it has also become an important source of inspiration,” notes Christy Tanner, chair of Swerve Sports. “By including diverse women’s sports programming - and especially exciting new categories seldom seen on television like freestyle trampoline - as well as original stories about and made by women athletes like the story of ZANA, we are working to underscore positive role models (and often unsung heroes) in the world of sports.’”
Swerve Sports is now available on Pluto TV, The Roku Channel US and UK, Free Live Sports, Lights Out Sports, and Zeam.
